It’s time to reflect and plan. Are you crazy you say? It’s the silly season! Now is not a good time!
The reality is that there’s never a good time. When it’s over it’s BAS-ON again and before you know it you’ll be barrelling headlong into another frantic year.
So how did you go in the this year?
- Did you achieve your goals?
- What achievement are you most proud of?
- What could you have done better?
What are your goals for the coming year?
- What turnover are you aiming for?
- What systems do you need to improve or create to achieve your goals?
- How committed are to your business out of 10?
Take the time to review your client list and charge-out rate. Sort them into A, B and Z clients not just based on value of sales but on how you feel about them. Be honest. If you knew there was a regular supply of clients who valued the work that you do and paid you what you are worth, which of your current clients would you ditch? Create marketing strategies to bring in new clients that you can do your best work with and plan the timing of getting rid of deadwood.
We all know that if you have a target in your sights you’re more likely to hit it. So take more than just a well-earned rest. End the year with positive plans for the coming year which energise you to take your business to the next level.
